CH-FSLS Foot Switch Operating Guide
Congratulations on your purchase of the Chauvet Foot Switch, with the proper treatment and operation it should
give you years of trouble-free operation. In order to fully utilize this unit's functions we recommend that you read this
manual completely before operating the unit.

Set-up

1) Remove the unit from packaging. Be careful not to leave packaging within reach of an unsupervised child, as it could
represent a potential choking hazard.
2) Plug the 1/4" stereo jack into the 1/4" remote opening marked REMOTE CONTROL on the CH-865
3) Plug in the CH-865, and turn it's power switch to the on position.

Operation

1) The Foot switch allows the user to control the two primary functions of the CH-865, Full-on and 16-pattern chase.

A: Full-On Mode

1) In order to send the unit into full-on mode, depress the switch marked Full-On one time. This will light
2) To exit Full-On Mode, simply depress the switch marked Full-On a second time.

B: 16-Pattern Chase Mode

1) Depress the button marked Blackout one time, sending the unit into preprogrammed16-pattern mode.
2) To exit 16-pattern mode, depress the blackout button a second time.
2) The Full-On button will override the Blackout button so that when running in 16-pattern mode, depressing the Full-On
switch once will send the unit into Full-On mode. By depressing the Full-On button a second time the user can exit
Full-On mode, sending the unit back into 16-pattern chase mode.

For Example:

1) Depress the blackout button sending the units into 16-pattern mode
2) During the pattern cycle, depress the Full-On button once to override the pattern and turn on all fixtures.
3) To exit and return to 16-pattern mode, depress the Full-On button again.
OR
3) To exit and blackout all units depress the blackout button, followed by the Full-On button thereby
1/4" Stereo Line
all LEDs on the CH-865.
