orders for spare parts:

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should be
taken to a suitable collection center for proper dis-
posal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such
a collection point, you should ask in your local
council offi ces.
9. Disposal and recycling
Remove the rechargeable battery/batteries.
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at above freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30 °C.
Store the electric tool in its original packaging.
Only model GE-CT 18/28 Li TC:
The trimmer cart has an integrated wall holder
(Fig. 17/Item L) to enable it to be hung on the wall.
10. Transport
•
Always hold the equipment with one hand on
the handle and the other hand on the additio-
nal handle. Do not carry the equipment by its
motor housing.
•
Secure the equipment against slipping if you
transport it in a vehicle.
•
As far as possible, use the original packaging
for transporting the equipment.

11. Faults
The equipment does not work:
Check that the battery is charged and whether the
charger is working. If the equipment will not work
in spite of the voltage supply being OK, please
send it to the customer service address below.
Only model GE-CT 18/28 Li TC:
Check whether the cutting unit in the trimmer
cart can rotate freely. Keep the underside of the
housing clean and remove any grass build-up.
Select the correct cutting height. Deposits or too
low a cutting height can make starting diffi cult or
impossible.
