POWX1270 BENCH GRINDER POWX1270 1 APPLICATION Your combination bench grinder has been designed for sharpening metal and wooden tools, including knives, chisels and other cutting tools. Attention! Only grinding wheels must be used which have been tested to DSA standards and WHICH carry information about the maker, kind of bond, dimensions and permissible rotary speed.

POWX1270 ▪ Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Using safety equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, a hard hat, or hearing protection whenever it is needed will reduce the risk of personal injury. ▪ Avoid accidental starts. Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the plug.

POWX1270 7 ASSEMBLY AND REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS Mounting the machine (fig. A) The machine must be screwed to a workbench. ▪ Mark the position of the mounting holes (8) on the workbench. ▪ Drill holes at each of the marked positions, adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the screws used.

POWX1270 ▪ Tighten the nut (20), The spark guard protects your eyes and hands from sparks flying from the workpiece. Therefore, always use the spark guard. Mounting and adjusting the workpiece support for the grinding wheel (fig. F) The workpiece support must be adjusted regularly in order to compensate the wear of the grinding wheel.
