BELT TENSION
Checking Belt Tension
Belt tension is correct when: 'comfortable'
finger pres sure exerted on the belt at the
mid-way point between the pulleys causes
the tooth tips of the belt to be deflected
downwards to the level of the thick red line
on the belt tension decal –
see diagram
opposite.
