Turn the thermostat turnable knob to the required position. The thermostat allows a
variable setting of the water temperature. With the choice between: boil / simmer /
hot / warm.
If the thermostat turnable knob is turned to maximum, then the water is heated to
boiling point. The water would continue to boil until it has all boiled away. To avoid
this happening, after the water has heated, turn the thermostat turnable knob back
until the blue signal light switches off. The thermostat now controls the temperature
of the water and is heated only when necessary; saving power and costs. The blue
signal light shows how the heating is switched on and off by the thermostat.
Approximate temperatures:
- Boiling water:
- Hot water:
- Warm water:
The appliance is off when the thermostat turnable knob is turned to "O". The blue
signal light switches off.
For your safety remove the mains plug after use.
CAUTION: Don't carry the appliance when the water container is filled. Empty
the container or remove it from the housing when you move the appliance.
