Horizontal and vertical levelling:Turn the transport fastener (2) clockwise
and release the pendulum lock. Afterwards switch on the lasers (buttons 11,
12). Now the device can be levelled horizontally and vertically. If the device
is tilted too much and the pendulum is outside its self-levelling range, the
lasers will blink. In this case the device must be aligned with the fastening
screws (3) or alignment feet or the device must be placed on a surface that
is more level. The circular spirit level (13) can assist this orientation. The slope
function's indicator light (14) will be off.
IMPORTANT!
Turn the transport fastener (2) counter clockwise and switch off the laser to
transport (buttons 11, 12) the device. This will protect the pendulum system
from being damaged and switch off the device completely.
Slope mode: Do not release the pendulum lock, turn the transport fasten-
er (2) counter clockwise. Now the slope function is inactive! Switch on the
lasers (buttons 11, 12). Now the slope function's indicator light (14) will blink
and pitches or slopes can be laid out.
Important:
If the slope function's indicator light (14) blinks, horizontal and vertical
levelling cannot be done.
