Open the Page Setup dialog box.
The Page Setup dialog box can normally be opened by selecting Page
Setup... in the File menu.

Click Utilities.

Select Custom Settings from the drop-down menu.

Drag the Ink Drying Wait Time slider, then click Send.
■ You may need to clean some of the printer's internal parts. To clean the inside of
the printer, follow the procedure below.

Load several sheets of letter-size or A4 plain paper into the printer's paper
feeder.

Press and hold the RESUME/CANCEL button until the POWER lamp
flashes three times, then release the button.

Repeat this operation until there are no more smudges on the test page.
