What to Do if [PowerShot S10] or [PowerShot S20] Is Not in
the Scanners and Cameras Properties Device List or if the
[Scanners and Cameras] Icon Is Not in the Control Panel
1.
Open the [System Properties] dialog and check the [Device Manager] tab.
1. Double-click the [System] icon in the Control Panel.
2. Click the [Device Manager] tab.

Check the [Other devices] or [Imaging Devices] categories for either the
[PowerShot S10] or [PowerShot S20] item. Delete it with the following
procedures.
1. Select either the [PowerShot S10] or [PowerShot S20] item and click the
[Remove] button.
2. Click the [OK] button on the confirmation dialog.
3. Click the [OK] button to close the System Properties dialog.
Delete all copies if the [PowerShot S10] or [PowerShot S20] item appears in more
than one category, such as the [Imaging Devices] and [Other Devices], or if it is
duplicated in the [Other Devices].

Double-click the [My Computer] icon on the Windows desktop.
4.
Double-click the [C:] hard disk drive icon to open it.
