YBA DESIGN GENESIS PH1 Charging Instructions

IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING YOUR YBA GENESIS PH1 PHONO PREAMPLIFIER
In order to prolong ba ery life, please be aware of the following charging requirements
When first unpacking your PH1.....
Plug in the power adaptor to the DC IN socket on the rear panel.
Turn on your PH1 using the power switch underneath the le hand side of the product.
Switch the power switch on the front panel upwards. Ini ally WAIT will be displayed in
the panel above the power switch.
Press the power switch down, holding it for 3 seconds. This enables the phono
preamplifier to commence charging.
The level of charge is displayed. Allow the unit to fully charge before use.
As long as the power adaptor is plugged in – and switched on, then as the ba ery power
drops, it will charge automa cally.
In full use condi ons, the ba eries can be charged up to 10,000 mes with each full
charge las ng for up to 8 hours.

WARNING

When not in use, disconnect the power adaptor. Power off the PH1 using the switch located on
the le underside of the unit.
Your PH1 should be regularly switched on and the power adaptor connected so the ba ery
level can be checked. If low, then it should be recharged.
If it remains switched on but not in use, then the ba eries will discharge over a period of 10 to
15 days and be damaged, requiring replacement.
Should you need to replace the ba eries (Sanyo NCR18650P), a er installing new ba eries
please press the reset switch before turning on the P 1.
Replacement ba eries are not covered by warranty.
