Assigning the VBus
address
®
In the basic setting, the interface adapter has the VBus
has to be registered in the controller using the number it has been assigned as the
VBus
address.
®
After it has been successfully linked with the controller, the functions of the EnO-
cean device will be available on the controller. Please pay attention to the control-
ler manual!
If several interface adapters are used, each one has to be assigned with its own
VBus
®
address.
In order to assign a VBus
address (A1 - A5) to the interface adapter, proceed as

follows:
Î In order to select a VBus
address, briefly press the set button until (A1 - A5)
®
is indicated.
Î To change the VBus
address, press the set button for 5 s.
®
The display starts flashing.
Î Release the button. [ ] is indicated.

MicroSD card
The interface adapter is equipped with a MicroSD card slot for MicroSD memory
cards.
Save adjustments
Î In order to save the adjustments on the MicroSD card, select the menu item
St and press the set button for 10 s until the indication flashes.
The adjustments are stored as a SET file on the MicroSD card.
Load adjustments
Î In order to load the adjustments from the MicroSD card, select the menu item
SL and press the set button for 10 s until the indication flashes.

Energy saving mode
In the energy saving mode, the 7-segment display is switched off. After 4 min. the
display switches to the energy saving mode. The energy saving mode is interrupted
if the set button is pushed, a MicroSD card inserted or if an error occurs.

The current software can be downloaded from www.resol.de/firmware (VB_
ENxxx.RSF).
Î Create a folder named RESOL\VBus\Enocean on the MicroSD card and ext-
ract the downloaded ZIP file into this folder.
When a MicroSD card with a firmware update is inserted, Sd is indicated for 30 s.
Î In order to perform an update, press the button for 3 s while Sd is indicated.
During the update process, the LED is red / green. The progress is indicated in per-
cent. When the update has been completed, [ ] is indicated.

Firmware update
Note:
The device will only recognise a firmware update file if it is stored in a
folder named RESOL\VBus\Enocean on the MicroSD card.
