Cooking Modes
PROBE Mode
1. Plug into outlet. Follow Steps 1 to 4 in How to Use Slow Cooker
(see page 6).
2. Make sure Temperature Probe is inserted into center of food and
not touching bottom of Crock or touching bone.
3. Insert Probe into Jack on side of Slow Cooker.
4. Press ON/OFF ( ) button to turn on.
5. Press PROBE button. PROBE button will illuminate. Display will
show default temperature 180°F (80°C). If Probe isn't plugged in,
display toggles between PLUG and PRbE.
6. Press up arrow ( ) or down arrow ( ) to select desired
temperature 100°F–200°F (38°C–93°C).
7. Press ENTER button and HIGH will show on display. Press up
arrow ( ) or down arrow ( ) to select desired heat setting: HIGH
or LOW for cooking, or WARM.
8. Press ENTER button to start cooking. Display will toggle between
actual temperature and desired temperature.
9. Once selected temperature is reached, Slow Cooker will
automatically beep 3 times and switch to WARM. Display will
show WARM. Slow Cooker will automatically turn off after a total
of 24 hours of cooking and WARM time if not turned off. Unplug.
NOTE: To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold both
PROBE and ENTER buttons at the same time.
