the accessories supplied with your appliance, and keep them within reach.

This appliance is intended for domestic household use only. It is not intended to be used in the following applications, and
the guarantee will not apply for: - staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; - farm houses; - by
clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; - bed and breakfast type environments.
For your safety, this appliance conforms to all applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic
Compatibility, Food Compliant Materials, Environment, ...).

Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside and the outside of the appliance.
Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth, varnished furniture, etc.) or on a soft
surface such as a tea-towel.
Important tips when cooking FONDUE WITH OIL:
• Always use fresh, new oil.
• Do not mix different types of oils.
• Never add water in oil or other fat.
• Do not add herbs or other seasoning, to the oil.
• We recommend using sunflower, groundnut or vegetable oil.
• Do not use oil with added ingredients (e.g. herbs).
When washing-up the fondue pot, ensure that you rinse and dry it thoroughly, before re-using.
When filling the pan, it is important to respect the minimum and maximum levels indicated inside the pan (quantities are
listed at the beginning of instructions for use).
Capacity
- Oil: 1L to 1.25 L (depending on the marks).
- Stock: 1 L to 2 L.
Fully unwind the power cord.
Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the
appliance.
Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
If need be, make sure to choose an extension cord of equivalent diameter with an earthed socket.
Position the power cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that guests can move freely around the table
without tripping over it.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Plug the power cord into the appliance. Only the appropriate connector must be used.
Then connect the cord to the mains.
Never leave the appliance plugged in when not in use.
Never run the appliance empty.
To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.

Do not use a different plug from the one supplied with the appliance.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
On first use, wash the pan, pour a little cooking oil onto the plates and wipe with a soft cloth.
On first use, there may be a slight odour and a little smoke during the first few minutes.
Ensure that the pan is stable and fitted correctly onto the base of the appliance. Only use the pan supplied with the
appliance or purchased from an approved service centre.
If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of the reach of children.
Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
