3. Type "configure terminal" and press the [Enter] key.
The product switches from command input mode to global configuration mode.

4. Use the "ssh-server enable" command to enable the SSH server functionality.
SWX3220(config)#ssh-server enable
SWX3220(config)#
5. Register a user with password using the "username" command.

Important: You must supply a user name and password when logging in via SSH. Make
sure to register a user with password ahead of time.
Example: User name: yamaha; password: 1a2b3c4d
SWX3220(config)#username yamaha password 1a2b3c4d
SWX3220(config)#
6. Type "exit" and press the [Enter] key.
The product returns to privileged EXEC mode.
SWX3220(config)#exit

7. Save the settings as necessary.
SWX3220#write
