have to be sealed with duct tape.
When using for opening toilet drains, fill the toilet with water. The
water level must be higher than the toilet bowl attachment.
Flush lower floor toilets to be sure they are clear before using the drain
cleaner on upper floor toilets.
If necessary, use a splash guard foil to protect against possible splash.
Drape the protection foil over the rim of the bowl and secure the edges
of the foil with duct tape.
When using the drain cleaner for opening exterior drains, pay
attention to the water level. The system must be full of water. Add water
to the system if necessary.
For drain systems with multiple openings begin by using the drain
cleaner closest to clog while plugging all adjacent openings.
Repeat steps as necessary with each of the other openings upstream
until the drain system flows normally.

Operation

1. Prepare the drain cleaner as described in chapter "Assembling".
2. When using the drain cleaner on any exposed drain traps, be sure to
support the bottom of the trap with a strong, non-flexible object, e.g. a
sturdy pot, a book, etc. The drain cleaner uses air pressure to work.
Failure to support any exposed drain trap may result in the drain pipe
fitting become loose due to the compression. Unexposed drain traps
used in showers, bath tubs, etc. do not need support.
3. Put the drain cleaner on a firm and flat surface. Use the pump lever (6)
to pump air into the air reservoir (3). Pump until you feel a strong
resistance (normally this occurs after approx. 20 to 30 strokes).
4. Run water in the obstructed drain until the water level reaches the drain
opening. Place the drain cleaner on the blocked drain opening. A
pressure-resistant sealing is important.
5. Firmly hold the drain cleaner with both hands. One hand holds the air
reservoir (3) and the other hand holds the handle (5). Quickly press the
trigger (4). The air rapidly escapes from the air reservoir through the
clogged pipe and clears the obstruction in the drain.
6. Slowly lift the drain cleaner from the drainage and immediately flush
with plenty of running water. If necessary, repeat the process several
