IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read all instructions before using this heater. This appliance must be mounted to the wall.
2. Do not use outdoors. The convector cannot be used in places full of vapours, ashes or in
inflammable, explosive air.
3. When using the appliance, put it more than 8" (20 cm) away from the ceiling & floor. Do not
put any obstructions within one meter above it and it must be far from furniture, objects that
are easy to be out of shape or change colour after being heated. Do not hang any unstable
object over the heater.
4. Do not use the appliance on the same socket or electric circuit with other electrical appliances
to prevent the circuit from being overloaded, which will cause a fire.
5. Do not let children insert hands or small objects into the vent holes and slots of the appliance
as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
6. Do not place clothes, towels and other objects directly on the appliance to be dried or drop
water into the appliance.
7. The heater has hot or arcing or sparking pads inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
8. If the appliance malfunctions, never attempt to use it and do not disassemble or repair it by
yourself. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to
authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
9. While the appliance is working, do not often open doors or windows. Otherwise, it will affect
the warming effect.
10. If the appliance is damaged, it must only be repaired by the manufacturer, its service agent
or other qualified agents in order to avoid a hazard.
11. If the appliance is covered, there is a fire risk.
12. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
13. Connect the appliance to a properly wired circuit only.
14. Connect to power supply with the help of a qualified electrician only.
15. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance used by or near children. Never leave
appliance unattended.
16. The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the appliance manufacture may
cause hazard.
17. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
18. Any maintenance other than cleaning should be performed at an authorized serviced facility.
19. If your wall outlet becomes loose, it may overheat. Should this happen, consult a qualified
electrician.
20. Light smoke or smell will be emitted when using the heater for the first time. This is normal
and does not indicate a problem. Continue operating the appliance until the smoke stops.
21. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
22. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
23. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep
combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at
least 3' (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
24. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
25. To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, and turn off power to heater circuit at main
disconnect panel.
26. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.

d) Vérifiez l'état du fil électrique dans la boîte de connexion.

dans l'ordre inverse.
Note : Ne désassemblez pas le convecteur pendant l'inspection.

Entretien:

1. Débranchez toujours l'appareil avant de le nettoyer ou le réparer.
2. Ne cognez pas et ne frottez pas trop l'appareil, vous pourriez endommager le
revêtement, ce qui pourrait entraîner la formation de rouille.
3. Si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé durant une longue période de temps, bien le nettoyer et le
ranger dans une boîte sèche.
4. Ne jamais plonger l'appareil dans l'eau pour le nettoyer.
