Printing to the face-up output tray
(Face-up printing)
When the face-up output tray is open, the printer has a straight paper
path from the paper tray or multi-purpose tray to the back of the
printer. Use this method when you want to print on special media
that is thick or should not be bent, such as thick paper, labels, card
stock or envelopes.
1
Open the face-up output tray.
2
Pull out the face-up output tray support.
3
Put the paper in the paper tray or the multi-purpose tray.
4
After all the printed pages come out of the printer, remove them
and close the face-up output tray.
