b) Testing the Discharge Capacity of a Rechargeable Battery

In addition to testing the values for an electric drive, the Power Analyzer can also be used
to test the performance capability and discharge capacity of a drive battery. In this case, a
discharger (not included) must be connected to the right socket "POWER LOAD".
Important information!
When connecting the discharge, ensure that the correct charging end voltage
for the respective battery used is set. This is the only way to prevent harmful
deep discharge of the connected battery.
Connection pattern for discharge capacity test:
1. Drive battery
2. Power Analyzer
3. Discharger
Connection and measuring method for testing the discharge capacity correspond to those
for determination of an electric drive's power data. The discharger is connected instead of
the speed adjuster / controller with motor. Depending on the discharge current, the useful
battery capacity can be determined this way.
