Connecting a Leslie Speaker Cabinet
Your Hammond SKX has an 11-pin jack located on the Accessory Panel designed to make it possible to connect a Leslie
Speaker cabinet or speaker system such as a 981 or a 3300/3300W.
The connection is made by means of an 11-pin Leslie cable supplied with each applicable Leslie Speaker.
Connecting the SKX to an 11-pin Leslie Speaker
Your SKX will connect directly to the following Leslie Speaker Cabinets having an 11-pin interface:
2101
3300, 3300W
981.
Connect one end of the cable to the 11-pin jack on the cabinet and the other end to the corresponding jack on the SKX,
as shown below.
Connecting the SKX to a 6- or 9-pin Leslie Speaker
You can connect your SKX to a Leslie Speaker cabinet having a 6- or 9-pin interface by doing the following:

IMPORTANT NOTE:

configurations, you will need to know the model number of your Leslie Speaker to determine
whether it is compatible. Contact your Hammond Organ Dealer for more information regarding
which adapter kit and/or cable you may need.
1. You will need a Leslie Adapter Kit for the particular model of Leslie Cabinet you want to connect.
After you obtain the Adapter Kit, connect one end to the multi-pin plug on the back of your Leslie
Speaker Cabinet.
2. Connect the other end of the Adapter Kit to the Leslie 11-pin jack on the back of the SKX.
