4.4 Radiometer Calibration

The calibration consists in the measurement of the I.R. output power of the Plantar Test with
the Ugo Basile I.R. Radiometer (SKU:37300) which in turn has been calibrated with a standard I.R.
source in order to provide an absolute energy source.
A periodical calibration with the Ugo Basile Radiometer is recommended with a frequency de-
pending on the use frequency of the Plantar Test device; for a 2 days a week use we recommend
a 3 month frequency re-calibration.
