Your trap is fitted to a Automatic Ball Trap (left, right, up and down movement) base. It will have been supplied with a
200m wireless radio control and receiver. Connect the radio receiver to the green six pin circular socket on the ABT
control Box. The notch in the radio receivers plug should face north as you push it into the socket and then screw the
collar on to secure the connection.
The main ABT control box is located at the rear of the ABT base, you will notice two time interrupter switches on the
control box, one for left to right movement and one for up and down movement; they both have three positions.
1. Flicking the switches down will move the trap left to right or up and down depending on the switch being used.
This feature is ideal if you do not have the remote with you and want to move the traps direction, however please
be aware that if you are not in control of the remote another person may fire the trap.
2. When the switch is in a central position you can move the trap left to right or up and down via the remote control.
You can press the L-R and U-D movement buttons on the handset to nudge the trap in small increments. If you
hold the L-R or U-D movement buttons for a period of 4 second (or individual presses in quick succession
amount to 4 seconds) the trap will continuously move left and right or up and down until disabled by pressing the
button again for 4 seconds. The traps movement will stop after 5 minutes if the trap is not fired. The left to right
and up and down movement can be used individually or together.
3. When the switches are flicked upwards it will engage the time interrupter. This means that when the trap is fired,
a random sequence of movement (including pauses) will be initiated and last for 15 seconds. It is possible to use
the L-R time interrupter and leave the U-D switch in the central position, meaning the movement initiated when
trap is fired will only be left to right. Unless the trap is raised high on a tower then this set up is advised because
it is dangerous if the trap is fired when it is at its lowest elevation because it may be directing at the shooting line.

Tilt

To tilt your trap left or right, to either level the flight of the clay or curl the flight of the clay, use the plastic hand
tension nut on the side of the trap which, is located underneath the main control box for the trap. Loosen the M10
nuts so that you can loosen or tighten the tension nut to the desired level of tilt and then re-tighten the m10 nuts to
secure.
