1.1. Installation and connection information

The PL 751A printed circuit board is intended for installation in the control cabinet and is
clipped on to a mounting rail on the mounting panel.
The supply voltage is 24V DC.
Taps from the safety circuit are to be undertaken on terminal blocks B and C. 230V AC is
applied to these terminals.
The air gaps and creepage distances (3 or 4mm) are to be measured so the circuit board
can be used up to 2000m above sea level.
Electronic devices contain sensitive components which must be protected against
contamination, humidity and mechanical damage.
Electrostatic discharges can destroy electronic components. These can be prevented by
previously touching an earthed metal part in order to statically discharge yourself.
Electronic equipment is not fail-safe, therefore the user is responsible for ensuring that, in
case of equipment failure, the drive is set to a safe state, otherwise harm to persons and/or
damage to materials can occur. The equipment is to be disconnected from the mains prior
to every intervention.

1.2. Setting the jumpers

There are 3 jumpers on the PL751A circuit board which are required for programming the circuit
board and which may only be set for this purpose.
