3.2. Setting of DIL switches

There is an 8-pole DIL switch on the PL 751A via which the following functions can be set.
Caution: The setting of the DIL switch may only occur when the main switch is switched off.
The switch setting "1" is labelled with "ON". On delivery of the circuit board in a Weber control
unit, the switches are set to the required function.
Switch 2+1:
Brake or valve monitoring. The monitoring contacts connected to the inputs E4
and F3 may optionally be NC or NO contacts. The function can be set as follows:
0+0 = Braking or valve monitoring switched off
0+1 = NO contacts at both inputs
1+0 = NO at input E4, NC at input F3
1+1 = NC contacts at both inputs
Switch 4+3
Time for the brake monitoring:
0+0 = 1 second
0+1 = 2 seconds
1+0 = 3 seconds
1+1 = 4 seconds
The works setting on delivery totals one second.
Switch 5:

Switch 6:

Switch 7:

Switch 8:
Must be set so that an uneven number of switched-on switches results.

4. Error messages

The display of errors occurs via a light diode, the cover panel of which is labelled "Fault". It
displays a pulse sequence beginning with a start pulse of 2 seconds in duration followed by a
number of shorter pulses corresponding to the error number.
Error no.:
Function
1
Switch test, this error message occurs if an even number of DIL switches are
switched on.
2
The door zone has been left with the doors open.
3
Travel contactor monitoring, i.e. both inputs signalise a different position of the
main contactor.
4
Brake monitoring i.e. both inputs signalise a different position of the braking
element or the position of the braking elements is different to the main contactor.
5
Error of the 230V input cells (optocoupler)
6
Ram error
7
Flash error
8
Safety relay error
The output G4 "Error display" also supplies these pulses, which can be implemented by a lift
control unit in a plain text message.
