Ethernet Routing Switch 1612G

The 1612G switch has 12 slots that accept Gigabit SFP modules for network
connections at 1000 Mb/s.

The LEDs on the front panel indicate the status of each of the following:

Generally, a lit LED indicates a functioning power supply or port. A flashing LED
indicates either activity on an Ethernet port, or a failure of one of the two built-in
AC power supplies.

Enclosure

Each 1600 Series switch consists of a standard 19" rack-mountable, sheet metal
enclosure. Mounting ears are included in the switch's packaging to allow
mounting the switch in a standard 19" electronic equipment rack.
Cooling fans and air vents are located on the sides and the back panel of the
enclosure. When mounting the switch, ensure that these cooling fans and vents are
not blocked. In addition, you should allow sufficient airflow to prevent the switch
from over-heating.
