The styling bar cannot secure a load. If you
secure a load to the styling bar, the styling
bar may become detached as a result of
braking, abrupt changes in direction or an
accident. The load may slip, tip or be
thrown around and thereby collide with
persons. There is a risk of injury.
If you secure a load, only use the lashing
eyelets.
The styling bar is a fixed installation on your
vehicle. Only have the styling bar removed at
a qualified specialist workshop.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for this
purpose.
Brake light

Regularly check the correct functioning of
the brake light in the styling bar. A
malfunction may otherwise cause an
accident. In the case of a malfunction, have
the brake light checked at a qualified
specialist workshop.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use
a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for this
purpose.
A brake light is integrated in the styling bar.
This brake light replaces the brake light of
the vehicle cab, which is covered by the
styling bar.
The brake light of the vehicle cab is

decommissioned as part of the
installation of the styling bar.
Cleaning and care
Observe the notes on cleaning and care in
the „Maintenance and care" section of the
vehicle Operating Instructions.
To care for the stainless steel variant of the
styling bar, use a special stainless steel care
product.
With the styling bar installed, you can drive
through an automatic car wash.

Maintenance

The styling bar is maintenance-free.
Technical data
! Due to its own weight, the styling bar
reduces the maximum payload of your
vehicle. Always comply with the
permissible gross weight of your vehicle.

27 lb (13 kg)
