success with your new walimex pro product.
■ Please read these instructions for use thoroughly before you use this
new equipment for the first time. It contains everything you need to
know in order to avoid damage to persons or property.
■ Strictly follow all notes on safety in these instructions for use.
■ Keep these instructions for use in a safe place. If you sell your equip-
ment or pass it on to someone else, you should also pass on these
instructions for use.

2. Important safety information

NOTE
Danger of damage caused by the camera falling down, if the quick-release
plate has not been correctly fastened and mounted on the SteadyCam.
And if the counter-weights have not been correctly fastened
■ Always make sure that all fastening screws are tightened and that the
locking lever on the quick-release plate has correctly engaged.
■ Make sure that your camera has been properly mounted on the Steady-
Cam. Check all connections for tight and secure fit.
■ Ensure secure fastening of the counter-weights. Make sure that the
fastening screws have been tightened.
NOTE
The maximum load bearing capacity of 6kg must not be exceeded.
CAUTION
Danger of impact and squashing by the spring arm
■ Make sure that you have securely fastened the equipment you use, e.g.
camera.
■ For the SteadyCam use only accessories and spare parts which comply
with the prescribed specification. See technical specifications.
■ Do not let hair, pieces of clothes and loose parts get into the scissors.
■ When using the scissors on the spring arm, keep you fingers out of the
scissors – Danger of squashing.
■ When mounting, cleaning or using your equipment such as changing
the position do not stick your fingers betwen the scissors – danger of
squashing.
