Appendix 2 Processing the outer sheath and outer shield

Remove the cable covering as shown in the diagram

below, and expose the external semi-conductor.
External sheath
Knead the outer shield and stretch it.

Gather together the bottom of the stretched outer shield

and twist it as shown in the diagram below, and then
twist it once at the root.
Twist once
Cut off approximately 2mm to 5mm of the outer shield.

the Prepare the vinyl tube and vinyl wire as shown in the

* Keep the length of the vinyl wire as short as possible in
alignment with the actual earth wiring.
Solder the outer shield that was cut in procedure #2 to

the vinyl wire.
Locate the vinyl wire along the core wire as much as possible
