Intended use
The lighting effect is used to produce LED lighting effects in the private sector on
dance floors, in party rooms, etc.
It is approved only for connection to 100-240 V/50/60 Hz alternating current. Do not use
any other power supply.
The product may be used only in enclosed indoor locations, never outdoors. Do not
expose to moisture, under any circumstances.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All

Explanation of the symbols
The lightning symbol inside a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential
risks of personal injury, such as electric shock. The device contains no parts
that should be serviced by the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and
use.
This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these operat-
ing instructions prior to using the product.
This symbol indicates the minimum distance to the illuminated surface.

The symbol with the house is used to inform the user that the device may
only be operated in enclosed rooms.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
F irst, read the complete operating manual carefully, as it contains impor-
tant information about the proper operation.
T he warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any re-
sulting damage!
W e shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions! The warranty will be void in such cases!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to
the product is not permitted.
• The product is designed in compliance with safety class II and must only
be used with a socket connected to the public electric grid.
• Do not look straight into the light rays during operation. Temporarily, the
light beams can lead to visual defects. Moreover, they may trigger epilep-
tic seizures in vulnerable persons. Of course, this applies particularly to
epileptics.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is danger of a
life-threatening electric shock!
• To completely disconnect the device from the mains, the mains plug must
be pulled out of the mains socket.
• Devices that operate on the mains voltage must be kept out of the reach
of children. For this reason, be particularly careful when using the device
in the presence of children. They may try to stick objects into the device,
through openings in the housing. There is a life-threatening electric shock
hazard.
• Check the device for damage frequently. Do not touch the light effect
device or the mains cable if they show visible damage. First, switch off
the appropriate mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker) and
then carefully pull the mains plug from the socket. Do not use the product
afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never place vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses,
buckets, vases or plants, on the device or in the direct vicinity of the de-
vice. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair the electrical safety
of the device. Furthermore, there is a significant risk of fire or a lethal
electric shock! If this is the case, de-energise the appropriate socket (e.g.
switch off circuit breaker) before removing the plug-in mains unit from
the socket. Afterwards, the product can no longer be used; take it to a
specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed wa-
ter, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the light
effect device.
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to
connect it safely, consult a trained technician.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Do not operate the device when it is unattended.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of
this operating guide.
• If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any
questions arise that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical service or another specialist.
