Several configurations are therefore pos-
sible and assuming that the speaker is lo-
cated near a corner of a room, it suffices
to attenuate the restoration level of the
lower frequencies slightly (control on
the top panel of the device cf p 62).
4.2 CONNECTIONS
- Main On / Off located on the ampli-
fier (black plate located on the LD 120's
lower panel) On (lit) or Off (unlit). This
selector switches on the LD 120 unit
(amplifier and trap door connector).
Note : Even if the device operates in the
Standby power save mode, it is recom-
mended to switch off the device if it is
not used for an extended period.
- On / Off located on the upper control
panel : On (lit) or Off (unlit). This selec-
tor allows switching on or off the am-
plifier, but leaves the trap door electric
connector under power.
- AC power connector
Once all the connections are made,
connect the AC power cable to a wall
outlet and switch on the device.
Make sure that the volume is tuned to
minimum when you switch on the de-
vice Your device is now ready to operate.
- Volume control
This cursor allows you to tune the vo-
lume to fit your usage. The volume varies
homogeneously between all the ampli-
fiers of the device (High, Medium, and
Low frequencies).
- Source selector
Turn the button to select the appropriate
source. Aux inputs (Aux 1 and Aux 2)
These inputs are suitable for any source
which emits a "line level", such as the
audio outputs of a DVD reader, a Satel-
lite / Cable receiver, etc.
They are deliberately level attenuated to
preserve optimal quality. The USB com-
puter audio plug (optimised sound card)
allows a sound level higher than for the
Aux 1 and Aux 2 plugs.
-LED, standby mode
The luminous indicator indicates the de-
vice's power status. Blue means the de-
vice is being used, while red means it is
in standby, which is a power save mode,
