1.3 Unpacking and Inspecting the Components

Unpack your system carefully, to prevent damage to the equipment.
Save the carton and packing, in case you need to return a unit for
service.
Check that you have all the correct system components. These
depend on your system package, as follows:

It is very important that you mount the transducer correctly. The
transducer provides the most reliable readings if it looks into water
that is smooth and undisturbed.
