ASSEMBLY

Functional description
This portable hand held grass trimmer is powered by an electrical motor.
This trimmer features 2 flexible nylon blades that are used for safe and efficient grass
cutting. After the safety guard is installed it will protect the user during trimming operations.
The following describes trimmer functions.
Package contents
Carefully unpack the trimmer and check that it is complete:
• Lawn trimmer (2 sections)
• Safety guard with 2 installation screws included.

Assembling the guard( Fig. 3 - 4)
1. Assemble the housing and handle.
2. Align the safety guard with the holes on the underneath side of the motor housing and slide
into position.
3. Attach the guard with the two screws.
4. Connect the upper housing and the lower housing.
The safety guard and handle must be in the same direction. Be careful that the internal power
cord is not tight or twisted.
NOTE: Once the lower and upper sections of the trimmer have been assembled,
they cannot be seperated.
WARNING
Always disconnect from power source before working on the trimmer.
Wait until motor has completely stopped before attempting any
maintenance. There is danger of electric shock and the possibility of
injury by the rotating blades unless motor has stopped rotating.
