Model T673__ Unscrew the test cap (1) and discard. Model T674__ Remove set screw (1). Remove and discard test cap (2). - Page 3 T674__ T673__ Diverter Installation, Model T674____ 2A) For models that ship with lift rod pre-installed. Remove orange lift rod retainer (4) prior to spout installation. To remove retainer (4), hold spout (13) firmly over flat surface and pull up on lift rod (12). The orange retainer (4) should drop from bottom of spout. Properly dispose of retainer. Perform spout installation shown below.
