Designed for use by utility personnel who require a simple and fast means of

current measurement on power lines which cannot be reached with a conventional

clip-on ammeter or lines carrying high potentials. The load spotter can be attached

to the universal head of a hot-line stick and slipped over a live conductor. The

range of conductors is from ½ inch to 2 inches.

Two modes of operation are possible; FREE RUN which continuously displays the

instantaneous current value, or HOLD which retains the highest reading obtained if

the instrument is positioned with the display out of view.

Page 2 OPERATION To begin, press the “ON/MODE” button, pressing again toggles between FREE RUN and HOLD mode which is indicated by a dot at the top of the display. Unit remains on for approximately 25 minutes until auto shut off operates or until turned off manually.
