installation,
instructions.

SAFETY WARNINGS
Do not flambé cooking under the hood
In the event of simultaneously use of the hood
as well as other devices not powered by
electricity, it is necessary to provide ventilation
in the room.
Do not leave the cooker on if not in use.

Overheated oil may catch fire !
Do not touch the LED lighting after the
appliance's use.
Do not check the grease filters while the hood
is operating.
Use the hood properly : it has been designed
to remove the kitchen smells and vapours.
Do not use the hood for any other purpose .
It is recommended to switch on the appliance
before cooking and to leave the hood on for 10
minutes approx after cooking is terminated in
order to completely eliminate cooking vapours
and odours.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The proper functioning of the hood depends on
the regularity of its maintenance in particular
with regards to the grease filter and the
charcoal filters if used.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the main
supply before carrying out any maintenance
operation.
Clean the fan and all other surfaces of the
coke hood regularly using a cloth moistened
with denatured alcohol or non abrasive liquid
detergent.

METALLIC GREASE FILTERS ( "B" Fig.6 )
The metallic grease filters capture the grease particles
of the vapors developed during cooking, therefore they
are subject to clogging according to the frequency of
the appliance's use.
In order to prevent fire hazard , it is recommended to
clean the filters every 4 weeks as indicated hereinafter:
Remove the filters from the appliance and
wash them in a solution of water and neutral
liquid detergent, leaving to soak.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave to
dry .
The filters may be washed in the dishwasher. After a
few washings filters may alter their color. This gives no
right to claim replacement of the metallic grease filters.
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS ("F" Fig.7 )
The activated carbon filters purify the air before
conveying it back into the kitchen room.
Activated carbon filters should be installed in the

chimney :
Mount the filter onto the support, using the
alternative pipe.
Filter saturation : approx 24 months
depending on the working hours of the
cooker hood and the cleaning of the
metallic grease filters . Code to reorder the
carbon filters : K66.6
LIGHTING (Fig.2 )
To replace the LED spotlights , proceed as follows :
Disconnect the hood from the mains supply
remove the metallic grease filters ("B" Fig. 6 )
remove , if present, the stainless steel plate
("E" Fig 6)
remove the spotlights pushing from the inside
towards the outside ("L" Fig.2 )

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MAIN INDICATIONS
The appliance can be installed in two modalities :
DUCTED : the kitchen air is purified by the
metallic grease filters and conveyed to the
outside by a ducting system.
RECYCLING: the kitchen air is purified
passing through the metallic grease filters and
the activated carbon filters (sold separately)
where after the air is conveyed back into the
kitchen.
