1 With the free wire end, move the torch into the cutting area of the wire cutter (2) so that the wire comes in contact with
the fixed jaws (7) and the gas nozzle is positioned directly over the cutter (6) at the required stick-out distance
(wire protrusion).

2 Program the positions and commands as shown in the flow chart.
Once the fixed cutting plates reach their wear limit (poor cutting quality, cutting device jams, wire is no longer cut, etc.),
they must be refurbished or replaced.
 Operating instructions for wire cutter
NOTICE
• Lubricate the cutting plate with the lubricating nipple (4). This extends the service life of the cutting plate.

6.7 Installing or replacing equipment parts

NOTICE
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
• Ensure that the covering hood is attached again once installation is complete.
All installed equipment parts must have a diameter identification that is identical to the outer Ø of the gas nozzle that is to
be cleaned.
