6 Commissioning

6.5 Injection unit (for BRS-FPi only)

Inflowing compressed air sucks in the anti-spatter fluid and mixes it with the compressed air flow (Venturi principle).
Recommended dwell time: approx. 1 sec.
1 Move the torch with the gas nozzle vertically over the injection nozzle.
Immersion depth for optimal injection: approx. 1 mm
The injection process is started when the corresponding 5/2 directional valve is actuated.

Risk of injury
Injury to the eyes by sprayed release agent.
• When adjusting the anti-spatter fluid, wear suitable protective clothing, in particular safety goggles.
1 Set the required quantity of release agent by turning the adjusting screw (1) to the right (+) or left (−).
