User Guide for FRS 0001 0031 3A Transformer
(Unswitched)

Description:

The FRS 0001 0031 3A transformer is a 3 Amp 230Vac switch mode power supply for use with 24Vdc actuators. The
transformer is attached to a blank double pattress cover plate. The product is to be fitted into a compatible double
pattress box, with minimum depth of 35mm.
The output polarity from the transformer is dependent on which switched Live input is being supplied with power:

Live 1 input energized produces positive 24Vdc on 24VA connection with 0V on the 24VB connection.

Live 2 input energized produces positive 24Vdc on 24VB connection and 0V on the 24VA connection.
The transformer contains thermal protection for extended excess loads, which will engage output power limiting and
eventual shutdown when prolonged over temperature conditions occur. Output will be restored once temperature has
recovered to normal operating temperatures.
