If an error occurs, the standby LED will automatically begin to flash. The number of times the LED flashes translates to a probable source of the problem. A definition of the standby LED flash indicator is listed in the Operating Instruction manual for the user’s reference.

    SECTION 3 - CHASSIS OVERVIEW Overview The primary circuits contained in the AZ2-F chassis consists of a Main Board (designated as the BATV board), Power Supply Board (designated as the GE2 for the 32”, GE3 for the 40” & 46 models). The remaining circuits are the Switch Unit, the IR Board (HLR2 Board), the Motion Sensor (HMS3 Board), and the LCD Panel assembly.

UPDATING THE SOFTWARE As mentioned in “Section 2 - Software Requirements” on page 17 there are several issues that may be resolved by updating the software to the latest version.

    SECTION 4 - TROUBLESHOOTING PROTECTION SHUTDOWN STANDBY LED FLASH COUNT Self Diagnosis Supported model Critical voltages and circuit operations are monitored by the CPU on the Main Board. If a fault is detected the Self-Diagnostic function in the TV will force the TV to shut down by the CPU. The monitored circuit in which the fault occurred will cause the CPU to flash the standby LED in groups of repeating sequences.
