    From the help menu in iPC, user manuals for cutting table and iPC are available online. These are updated regularly. Factory installed PCs have All documentation loaded to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Esko documentation. This folder can also be accessed from the help menu. The content is sorted on available languages.

Note: After power off, wait minimum 5 sec. before the system is switched on again. Use the mouse, double-click the icon for iPC. Check that no error message indicates faulty conditions.

    Kongsberg C-series 5. Safety Regulations 5.1. Introduction The Kongsberg C-series system is designed to conform to applicable safety regulation standards. Dangers are designed away as far as practically possible. Nevertheless, all hazards could not be removed. This section must be read carefully to understand the remaining risks, warning symbols, responsibilities, requirements and safety precautions.

Read the user manual Please read the User manual for cutting table, section Tooling system - HPMU or MultiCUT/MultiCUT-HP carefully and understand its content before operating the milling tool. 6.1.2. Qualified operators only The milling tool can be very dangerous if not operated with proper attention and knowledge.

    Kongsberg C-series 6.5.2. Safety issues Safety precautions Only properly trained operators are permitted to operate or handle the i-BF board feeder and i-MS material stacker. Service actions shall only be performed by qualified service engineers. Properly trained operators can perform maintenance tasks listed in the maintenance section of the user manual for cutting table.

  • Page 42 Kongsberg C-series There is a small plastic roller on each side of the lower gantry to support the lower gantry upper cover as the gantry moves forward and reverse. These rollers create a rolling nip danger. Never reach between the top cover and the base frame. A brush covers the gap and will reduce, but not fully eliminate the danger.
  • Page 43 Kongsberg C-series Note: Both feeder and stacker have caster wheels under their frames. These caster wheels are intended to be used to move the units into correct position during installation only. The casters must never be used to move assembled machines, this may cause damage to the equipment. If the machines must be moved after installation, the machines must be properly disassembled by a qualified field service engineer before the machines can be moved.
