Always observe
the following:
Important:
16
You must read this before using
this mini-club power pack for the first time.
G The power cords for several power packs or transformers
should therefore always be plugged into a common power
distribution strip. The power packs or transformers must always
be connected to or disconnected from the household current by
plugging or unplugging the power cord for the power distri-
bution strip. This ensures that no power is present in any of the
power cord plugs.
G Electrical power consumers (examples: feeder connections, tur-
nouts, signals, lights, etc.) must never be connected to two or
more power packs at the same time, because this situation will
create the dangerous alternating current described above.
Two or more solenoid accessories connected together to a con-
trol box or to a circuit track must not receive their power from
different power packs.
G Never touch any bare metal parts on a mains plug, before
the entire layout is completely without power, i.e. all power
packs or transformers must be disconnected from the
household current!
G All repairs to a transformer or its power cord must be done only
by the Märklin repair service.
Make children aware that changes in the wiring must
never be done without adult supervision. Transfor-
mers must always be connected to or disconnected
from the household current by plugging or unplug-
ging the power cord for the power distribution strip!
