4.1 COMPONENTS AND CONTROLS

Unloading Chute with Slide Gate:
The unloading chute at the base of the bin comes
with a rack and pinion slide gate assembly. A
crank is used to work the gate. There is 24" of
clearance below the slide gate.

Vented Top Lid:
The top lid, covering the 25" loading hatch at
the peak, is vented and spring-loaded. The
ventilation avoids a vacuum forming when
unloading, which may cause implosion.
A rope is attached to the lid and extends down
to the ground, and tied to a leg. Pull the rope to
open the lid, release it to close.
