    Charter:: ella ella 2 PRESENTATION 2.1 GENERAL INFORMATION The M 75 and 105 cutters are designed and built for performing linear, ella diagonal and 45° (“jolly”) cuts on ceramic tiles, marble, granite, porcelain stoneware, clinker and cotto. The diamond-tipped disc supplied with the machine is suitable for cutting ceramic tiles only; for all other materials, use specific discs.

    Charter:: ella ella 6 CONTROL COMPONENTS The cutter has thermal overload protection and is protected against power fluctuation. In “0” position, the switch (I) is off and is on in “1” position (Fig. 18). Fig. 18 In event of a power failure, the switch automatically flicks to “0”. When power is restored, the machine does not start up without warning but only after flicking the switch to “1”.

    Charter:: ella ella 7.2.1 Checking the efficiency of the safety devices At the beginning of each work shift, make sure the safety devices are secured in place and in working order. The machine’s safety devices are described in chapter 3. 7.2.2 Stopping the machine To stop the machine, flick the switch to “0”.

    Charter:: ella ella - Sharpening disc: In certain cases, a disc may partially lose its keenness although it is not completely blunt; in such cases the disc must be dressed. To dress with a S.I.R.I. whetstone whilst the machine is running, bring the whetstone into contact with the diamond-tipped crown of the disc, switch off the machine and wait for the disc to finish running.
  • Page 36: Extra-Duty Maintenance

    Charter:: ella ella Twice-yearly maintenance - Check the continuity of the machine’s PE circuit, as envisaged by the EN 60204-1 standard. This check must be made after every operation involving the machine’s PE circuit. - Check the state of the contacts of electrical contactors; if these are considerably oxidised or are functioning improperly, replace the contactors.
