Turning on the BroadNAS
1.
Turn the BroadNAS on by pressing I on the main AC power switch (located
on the back of the BroadNAS). For the location of the main AC power
switch, see the figure on
Network Connectivity Light
2.
Activate the BroadNAS by pressing the Soft Power button (located on the
front of the BroadNAS). The Power Indicator light then turns on.
3.
Ensure that both the Power Indicator and Network Connectivity lights are
on.
If the Network Connectivity light is not on, then the network cable is not
properly connected. Ensure that for:
•
A home network router device of any kind (such as a cable or DSL home
gateway or wireless router), the router is turned on and functioning, and
then reconnect the network cable.
•
Other (no home network router device), the PC or network hub where the
BroadNAS is connected to is turned on, and that the cable is securely
connected at both ends.
Repeat this section again and the Network Connectivity light should then
turn on.
