Warranty Conditions - Inglesina Base Huggy SHP Base Auto Instruction Manual

• Assembly, disassembly and adjustment operations must be carried out only by
adults. Make sure that the person using the product (baby-sitter, grandparents, etc.)
are aware of the correct operation of the same.
USE OF INGLESINA HUGGY CAR SYSTEM IN THE CAR
• CAUTION! Install the Inglesina Huggy car system ONLY IN THE OPPOSITE
DIRECTION TO THE DRIVING ONE. Never install it on seats positioned in opposite
direction or transversely to the ordinary vehicle driving direction.
• DANGER! The Inglesina Huggy car system IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED ON
SEATS EQUIPPED WITH ACTIVE FRONTAL AIRBAGS!
• Make sure that reclining seats are blocked in vertical position pursuant to the
instruction of the car's manufacturer.
• When using the Huggy Multifix and Prime car seats alone or together with the
Huggy SHP base, do not hook the seat units and/or base to the car using other
belt crossings than those indicated in these instructions. The safety belt crossing/
anchoring points are highlighted by proper indications in light blue colour.
• Check that all safety belts tightening the base to the car seat are always
fastened and tensioned. Periodically check the seat unit belts for proper retaining
performance.
• Check that the car seat longitudinal axis is always parallel to the direction of drive.
• During your journey, refrain from leaving unattended objects or bags in the car:
make sure that they are stored securely as, in the event of an accident, they can
cause injury.
• Check that straps with buckles are not twisted and are not trapped in the car door
or the mobile parts of the car seat.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

• The warranty conditions herein are compliant with European Directive 99/44/
EC of May 25 1999 as amended, and is valid for countries within the European
Community. Other warranty conditions for specific countries are provided in detail
