19. When the red lamp goes off, reset the temperature control to a temperature
relevant to the stacking height.
20. Switch off the FAST FREEZER SWITCH (if provided) after about 8 to 12
hours, or latest after 24 hours (the yellow light goes off).
NOTICE!
1. WARNING! Switch off the appliance and draw the plug out of the
socket. Risk of electrical shock!
2. Remove the cover of the illuminant.
3. Remove the old illuminant (anti-clockwise) and replace it by a new one of the
same kind and power (max. 10W).
4. Install the cover.
5. Plug in the appliance.
If you decommission your appliance temporarily, ensure that children
cannot get into the appliance. Strictly observe the corresponding safety
instructions numbers. 1 and 4, chapter Decommissioning, ultimate.
If the appliance is not used for a longer period of time:
While away on an average vacation/holiday (14-21 days):
1. Draw the plug out of the socket.
2. Remove all food stored in the appliance.
3. Dry the inside of the appliance with a cloth and leave the lid open. When
your appliance is equipped with a lock, adjust the lock to the CLOSED-
position and keep the key well away from children; so you avoid serious or
fatal accidents.
4. Defrosted food must be consumed immediately but latest within the next 24
hours.
If you want to move the appliance:
1. Secure all removable parts and the contents of the appliance. Pack them
separately if necessary.
2. Transport the appliance in an upright position only. All other positions can
cause damage to the compressor.
Never use mechanic devices, knives or other sharp-
edged items to remove encrusted ice inside the
appliance.
