EUROGRAND EG8080- 5. BASIC OPERATION The following chapters describe some further basic functions which you can use in addition to those already explained. 5.1 Using two sounds (layer mode) Instead of a single sound you can also play two sounds simultaneously on the EG8080.

The following sections describe how to adjust these functions in EDIT mode.

The changes made have now been stored in the music sequencer. When you play back the music piece, the new settings will be effective. All previous settings are deleted. EUROGRAND EG8080- 6.5.7 Sync start You can set the music sequencer playback-ready, so that it will start playback as soon as you play a key on the keyboard.
EUROGRAND EG8080- 6.6.1 Key velocity This parameter determines the volume of the sounds with reference to the key velocity applied, i.e. you can set here how hard you have to strike a key to achieve maximum volume. The following section describes how to change the key velocity.
