Remove the front panel from the transmission box using the flat screw-
driver to push the locking pins.

Stick the top part of the warranty sticker on the warranty extension
application supplied with your alarm system's installation guide (the bot-
tom part of the sticker must not be removed).

Power supply
Connect the battery supplied with the detector in the right direction.
The red and green light indicators come on briefly.
Press the test button for 2 seconds. If the red light comes on, the
battery is OK.
From now onwards your control panel must be in the test posi-
tion (tamper-proof contact released).
If your control panel is wall-mounted, press OFF on your remote
!
control just before taking it off the wall. Then place it next to the
detector taking care not to depress the tamper-proof contact.
NB: If you have a telephone dialer, unplug it from the telephone net-
work for the time required to implement the technical protection.

Installation radio code

You can programme your installation radio code using the 2 keys
marked "0" and "1" inside the device.
When you take your detector out of its container, the installation radio
code programmed is the same as the blank code (no broken coding
connection).
You can reproduce your system's installation radio code by pressing
these 2 keys in turn, bearing in mind that:

key "1" is for intact connection of your control panel's radio code
key "0" is for broken connection of your control panel's radio code
Copy this table onto a sheet of paper that will be destroyed after
coding:

Mark on the first line the boxes corresponding to the holes in the
coding template.
On the second line, below each cross, write a "0" (zero)
Fill in each empty box on the second line with a "1" (one).
Example (not to be used): You have broken the connections 2, 7
and 8 on the control panel using your template and your coding tool.

You now have a series of "0" and "1" which is the code to be program-
med on the keypad.
Warning: the code "0000000000" is not allowed.
Compose the following sequence to programme the installation radio
code:

If programming is correct, the red light indicator comes

on for 5 s.
NB: If, while programming, you press an unauthorised key, you leave
more than 7 seconds between entries or you do not press the "0" and
"1" keys at the same time, the red light indicator flashes and the pro-
gramming is incorrect. In this case wait for it to stop flashing before star-
ting the operation again.
6.6
Checking
You can check the programming of your installation radio code as fol-
lows:
Place your control panel in the test mode near you.
Press the test button on your detector for 3 seconds: the red light
indicator will come on (the detector front panel has been removed):
- if the installation radio code is correct, the control panel responds with
a series of 2-tone audible signals and the "Technical/sensors" light
indicator flashes on the front panel,
- if the installation radio code is incorrect, the control panel responds
with a low-pitched signal and no light indicators come on.

When the test button is kept depressed, the control panel indicates that
the radio link is OK by the flashing of the "Batteries" light indicator.
