SPEED
As the operator, you are responsible for maintaining your boat under control at a
safe speed. Many state and local boating authorities enforce speed limits.
Regulations may vary from state to state. Contact your local and state boating
authorities for specific information.
WAKE
You, as the operator, are responsible for the wake your boat creates. Always be
alert for NO WAKE zones and be courteous of others while boating. Excessive
and unexpected wakes can cause dangerous and even life-threatening situations.
Regulations may vary from state to state. Contact your local and state boating
authorities for specific information, as you may be responsible for any damage or
injury your wake causes.
OVERTAKING / PASSING
The boat overtaking or passing must yield right-of-way to the boat being passed.
The overtaking boat must make any adjustments necessary to keep out of the way
of the boat being passed. The boat being passed has the right-of-way and must
hold its course and speed.
