Record here and now
If you want to record the current programme
or a programme about to begin, you can start
recording immediately. You can also watch
another TV programme or switch Avant to
standby while recording.
RECORD
Press RECORD twice. The video
RECORD
tape recorder will begin
recording on the current TV or
Satellite channel

To watch another programme
0 – 9
during recording, just select the
desired TV programme on Beo4
If you record a Satellite
programme, it is not possible to
watch other Satellite
programmes than the one
being recorded!
V TAPE
Press V TAPE and then STOP to
STOP
pause recording
RECORD
Press RECORD to resume a
paused recording, or...
TV
...select a source, such as TV or
SAT
SAT, to stop recording
completely and switch on a
source

Press • to switch the system to
standby
Your recording will continue, unless it is paused
when you switch Avant to standby. A paused
recording will then stop completely.
The list of scheduled recordings
The Timer index list of pending recordings
allows you to check whether or not recordings
conflict with each other. You can change
channel, date, or time for recordings, or
delete them altogether.

To delete a recording...

highlight a Timer recording.

recording date.
> Press GO to delete the Timer recording, or EXIT
to keep it.
