When clicking on the Captus icon, "will operate in Demo mode only" appears. How is this corrected to run the application?

To run the CAPTUS® 4000e application instead of operating in Demo mode, ensure the system is powered on and the CAPTUS® 4000e software is running, as the MCA is powered by the software. Also, make sure valid license(s) for any optional modules (such as Custom Protocol or Absorbed Dose ALERT) are entered in Setup. If the system still runs in Demo mode, verify that all required configurations and licenses are correctly installed.

I am currently using the "Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System with Well Counter" for clinical measurements involving both Iodine-131 (I-131) and Technetium-99m (Tc-99m). I have noticed that your device offers separate protocol options for I-131 and Tc-99m uptake measurements.
I would like to clarify the following:
1) If a patient is administered both I-131 and Tc-99m (either simultaneously or closely timed), will the uptake measurements for each radionuclide be affected due to overlap, interference, or cross-talk?
2) Does your device automatically apply separate energy windows (e.g., ~364 keV for I-131 and ~140 keV for Tc-99m) for each protocol to minimize such errors?
3) Is it recommended (or safe) to perform uptake measurements for both radionuclides on the same patient within a short time interval using your system?

Questions and answers

I would like to clarify the following: 1) If a patient is administered both I-131 and Tc-99m (either simultaneously or closely timed), will the uptake measurements for each radionuclide be affected due to overlap, interference, or cross-talk? 2) Does your device automatically apply separate energy windows (e.g., ~364 keV for I-131 and ~140 keV for Tc-99m) for each protocol to minimize such errors? 3) Is it recommended (or safe) to perform uptake measurements for both radionuclides on the same patient within a short time interval using your system?
