    CAPTUS PREFACE Thank you for purchasing the CAPINTEC line of Thyroid Uptake Measurement Systems. Every effort has been made to insure that the information in this document is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. CAPINTEC assumes no responsibility for the results of errors beyond its control.
  • Page 10 Plug the unit into an outlet on a circuit different from that which the affected device is connected. If this fails to correct the problem, please contact Capintec’s Authorized Service Center. INSTALLATION Your system has been shipped from the factory pre-configured and fully tested. Installation consists of placing the components on the stand and securing them in place.

The Chi-Square Test is performed by repeatedly measuring the Cs137 standard using the region of interest determined in the test just performed.

    If the Chi-Square falls outside of this range, first repeat the test making sure that the background and positioning are kept constant. If the values are still out of range, contact Capintec’s Authorized Service Center for assistance. You always have the option of performing the Autocalibration Test, even when the Test shows that calibration is within established limits.
